Wedding Photography for Jayme and Robin
admin on Jun 29th 2008
“Someone is looking down upon us.” That’s what the mother of the bride said to me after the ceremony. It was forecasted to rain on Saturday and at the end, we only had a few drops of rain. Jayme and Robin had set their wedding to take place at Robin’s family estate, which is a farm located in Alliston. They had wished for their wedding ceremony to take place in front of their house where they sat a pair of musicians on the side of the porch. Everything went well on the day off, except the weather forecast wasn’t co-operating. But at the end, we had a beautiful sun almost the entire time till the end of it. Their wedding was done in a very relaxed manner. The food served was great. We took alot of candid shots. I was impressed with all the work they had put through for the event, with so few people involved. We had lots of memorable pictures, and I have quite a few bug bites… LOL.

Carola and Mike

It was a joy shooting Carola and Mike. We met 2 years ago at a bridal show and they booked us after a week we met. We met them again just a few weeks ago at her sister’s wedding (Kristina and Vinorth). Everyone had fun when we were shooting, especially when we asked them to piggyback! They didn’t even hesitate!!
Thanks for a great afternoon at Guildwood guys! We look forward to your wedding day!.

Erica and Andrew
June 7th 2008
At the time we started shooting, I knew it will be a tricky day. Why? Because it was hot and humid with the heat wave hitting Toronto that weekend. Nonetheless, we are professionals, so we see the challenge and we figure out a way to overcome it. Big part of the day went ok, it was the park that I worried about Since it was hot and humid, my experience tells me that Bride and Groom won’t last more than 30 minutes out in the sun (especially Richmond Green where there is rarely any areas with shade). So I suggest to Erica and Andrew, we can take more shots inside your house and we will go to the park after. They thought it was a great idea. We had a fantastic time at their comfortable home, they were relaxed, everyone is happy staying indoor with the A/C. LOL. We headed out to the park for some outdoor group shots and a few portraits, then we head to the reception and close the day off there. The day went by so quick I didn’t even recall there is a heat wave at all.
